ABOUT US

FP-Kim.jpg

Frank & Kim Petrella are the owner-managers of this Narragansett vacation home, our primary goal is making sure our guests enjoy their summer vacation!  Convenient and Clean, we try to add new amenities to the house each year to make our home a comfort for you and your family.  Please read our reviews from some of our prior guests over the years, we try our best to add a personal touch to your experience.

We purchased the house in 2008 after being invited to the area by some friends of ours who owned a home in Scarborough and we fell in love with the area.  Peaceful, uncrowded, lots to do, and close to everything - from the Block Island Ferry to dozens of restaurants, sightseeing, and ocean fun!  We rented other houses several times before buying ours, and we often hear that many of our guests started coming here as children and now bring their families back to Scarborough Beach year after year.

What makes this house unique is Peace and Quiet – Set back from the noisy-crowded part of Scarborough, the house has off-street parking for 3 cars, a large corner lot, nice quiet deck, gas grill, outdoor shower, and everything you need to relax - from dishes and silverware to a washer and dryer.  Cable TV, Wireless Internet, DVD player, and even a Sony Playstation with lots of games for the kids.  Our goal is to contribute to your vacation fun - Contact us with any questions about the house and area.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Please also check the reviews since what our guests have to say proves that we care about our home, our guests, and your summer vacation!

Scarborough Beach 1

Narragansett has something for everyone with three great beaches, and many vacationers return year after year. Scarborough State Beach has body surfing and boogie-boarding as well as concession stands, showers, and rest rooms. Roger Wheeler Beach is just a few minutes away and has gentle waves which are great for toddlers. Narragansett Town Beach is also 5 minutes away where you can walk along the sea wall and enjoy the beach atmosphere.

The area is great for bike riding, walking or jogging. Take the ferry to Block Island for a day of exploring and shopping with dining and dancing at night. Visit the Galilee fishing village and have dinner on the docks or buy lobsters and fresh fish right off the boats to cook at home.

25 minutes to Historic Newport - tour the magnificent mansions and discover great restaurants and shops. Golf at any of the great public golf courses nearby, bring your bikes or take a Sunset Cruise around the Salt Pond and the Point Judith Harbor.

Other Activities: Also 45 minutes to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos
